Ms. Towanna Rochella Williams was born on June 2, 1976, to the late Gail Ann Williams and Michael Ford at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, Alabama. At an early age, Towanna accepted Christ and joined Lighthouse Church of Jesus Christ, under the leadership of Elder Steve Williams.
Ms. Williams received her education in the Gadsden Public school system. She was a graduate of Litchfield High School, class of 1995. Towanna was a very easy person to love with her quiet, humble spirit. She was very devoted to her children, family, and community. On Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 12:48 a.m., God called Towanna, and she accepted His call. Towanna was preceded in death by her two children, daughter, Tishonda Roshea Chambers, and son, DeMaras Williams, her mother, Gail Ann Williams, her uncle, Gary Williams, her maternal grandparents, Emm and William Holliday and Henry Roberts, and paternal grandparents, Clifford and Alice Ford.
Towanna leaves a multitude of loving memories to be cherished in the lives of her two children whom she adored, daughter, Markesha Winborn, and son, Jaylon Williams; aunt/mother, Sheila (Randy) Duckett; father, Michael (Anyee) Ford; two brothers, Antonio Williams and Derek Williams; cousin/sister, LaToya Duckett; cousin/brother, Randy Duckett; uncles, David Williams, Jr., James (Rita) Ford, Christopher (Sarah) Ford, and Kelvin (Rena) Ford; aunts, Ruby Williams, Patricia Williams, Patricia Holston, Mary Graves, Annie Roberts, Teresa Ford, and Malissa (Tyrone) Bush; special niece, Jurmika Williams; companion, Terry Harrell; special cousins, Ramade Williams and Emily Williams; special friends, Monica Garrett and Angie Hunt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
