Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Teresa Coats-Douglas, 56, Gadsden, will be at noon on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Leesburg, where the Rev. Michael Watters is pastor. Words of Comfort will be provided by the Rev. Michael Terrell. Interment will be in Rainbow Memorial Gardens. She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband, Roderick W. Douglas Sr.; one daughter, LaTwola Douglas; sons, Roderick Douglas Jr., Reggie Douglas and Nakia Douglas; sisters, Vanessa (Patrick) Dupree, Debra (Wiley) Majors, Sharon Coats and Alicia Posey; brothers, Kenneth Lemons and Kelvin Pierce; mother-in-law, Mrs. Willie Mae Douglas; brothers-in-law Patrick Dupree, Wiley Majors and Jeffrey Kidd; sisters-in-law, Gloria Douglas, Marilyn Garrett, Rita Kidd and Catherine Washington; daughters-in-law; Carrie, Callie and Crystal, son-in-law Marcus; aunt, Berta Ragland; uncle, Elder Roy Coats; 22 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and very devoted friends.
