Phacethia Denise (Woods) Posey

Phacethia Denise Woods Posey, left this earthly realm on April 13, 2020. CeeCee, as she was affectionately called by her family and peer, was a product of Billy Ray and Barbara Woods. As a child, CeeCee grew up in church making her zeal for Christ infectious to all she would meet. She could captivate any room with her smile, fashion sense and overall beauty. Phacethia, a beautiful flower, planted August 2, 1968 to Billy Ray and Barbara Woods. God saw fit to pick this beautiful flower on April 13, 2020. She was a member of New Destiny Christian Church , and actively involved on the Praise Team, Children’s Ministry, Toys for Tots, and Dream Team Clean-up Ministry.

Phacethia was joined in marriage on February 14, 1995, to Tyrone (Petey) Posey Sr. She is leaving behind, two children, Navendra (Roxana) Woods and Tyrone Posey, Jr. her mother, Barbara Woods, two sisters, Johnjalene Woods and Kyra (Anthous) Porter, a special nephew, DeCarlo “Finesse” Middleton, grandchildren, Malik, Navaree, Nina-Grace and a host of step-children, sisters and brothers in laws.

CeeCee was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Woods, grandparents, James and Vella Ransaw, Georgia Woods and a host of aunts and uncles.

She was the world’s greatest, devoted MawMaw EVER!! She didn’t play about those grandkids!!! She was a devoted wife and loved her HUNTER (Petey). She will definitely be truly missed!
