Pearl Y. Murray

PEARL YVONNE (ROBERTSON) MURRAY was the seventh child of ten born to the late Shellie J. and Laura Mae (Johnson) Robertson in Randolph County, Alabama, on August 18, 1941. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the First Baptist Church in East Gadsden, Alabama. Yvonne continued following Christ and joined Shiloh Baptist Church in Centre, Alabama, under the leadership of Pastor Michael R. Robertson.

Yvonne transitioned on January 3,2025.

Yvonne was united in holy matrimony to the late Duff Murray of Goodwater, Alabama.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Shellie and Laura Mae; four sisters, Modjeska Ross, Gertrude Terrell, Mary Jo Minniefield, and Cecial Hale; and three brothers, Wrenward, Beauford, and Ernest Robertson.

Yvonne leaves to cherish: her one sister, Dorothy Buchanan of Gadsden, Alabama; one brother, Edward (Margaret) Robertson; one sister-in-law, Francina Robertson of Gadsden, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
