Miss Jariah A. Barkley was born the first child to Mr. Jerod Barkley and Mrs. Marquita Moore on October 23,2003. She Confessed Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age.
Jariah received her formal education in the Gadsden City School System. After graduating she had plans to attend Auburn University, where she had received a scholarship for her academics.
In her spare time, she loved spending time with family and friends, shopping, going out to eat, and going on vacation. Jariah was a loving daughter, sister, and friend. Jariah was preceded in death by her great-great-grandmother, Mary Pearson; great-grandmothers, Mrs. Ida Moore and Mrs. Katherine Barkley; great-grandfather, Jerry Moore; grandfather, Henry Jelks; and uncle, Albert Grimmett.
