Kendrick Vaughn Obituary

Kendrick Errol Vaughn was born on March 8, 1977, to the late James Allen and Joyce Vaughn Twyman. He was the only child of his mother, Joyce, and was deeply loved and cherished. At an
early age, Kendrick accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, and his faith remained a guiding light throughout his life.

Kendrick attended Litchfield High School and later earned his GED, showing determination and resilience that would define his journey. He pursued a career in trucking, beginning as a
company driver and eventually becoming an independent contractor. Through hard work, perseverance, and faith, Kendrick achieved one of his proudest accomplishments, owning his
own semi-truck. He took great pride in providing for his family and building something of his own.

Kendrick found great joy in fatherhood and was the proud father of Deionte Crowley and Akaisus Vaughn. On September 8, 2018, Kendrick married the love of his life, Jennifer White, and together they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Through this union, Kendrick was blessed to gain two stepsons, Jaylen Pollard and Jordan Pollard, whom he loved and treated as his own.

Life on the road never dulled Kendrick’s joy. He enjoyed playing PlayStation during downtime and especially loved traveling alongside his wife, Jennifer, creating memories wherever the road
led. Kendrick’s personality was unmistakable, always smiling, always encouraging, and always ready to strike up a conversation. He truly never met a stranger, and those who encountered him
were often left feeling uplifted.

Kendrick believed in living life to the fullest, and he did just that. He cherished family gatherings, particularly during the holiday season, and proudly supported his Alabama Crimson  Tide as a devoted fan. Of all life’s blessings, none compared to the joy he found in being a grandfather. The birth of his only grandchild, Anyla Vaughn, was his most treasured gift and
brought him immeasurable happiness.

Kendrick Errol Vaughn lived boldly, loved deeply, laughed often, and left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His life was a testament to faith, perseverance, joy, and love, and his memory
will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
—2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
