Jean C. (Toney) Johnson

Mrs. Jean Caroline Johnson was born on April 12, 1945 to Mr. John O. Toney and Mrs. Bunia V. Toney in Gadsden, AL.She received Christ under the leadership of Rev. Sprull at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church.

During most of her working life she enjoyed taking care of people, Jean worked many years in healthcare. In her spare time, she loved listening to music, dancing and sewing.

She is preceded in death by her parent, Mr. John O. Toney, and Mrs. Bunia V. Toney; One sister, Olivia McCoy.

Jean leaves to cherish her precious memories One son, Cornell Toney of Gadsden, AL.; Two daughters, Tamara Toney and Timecia Toney-Edwards both of Birmingham, AL.; Fiancé, Mr. Leon McMullen of Birmingham, Al ; One brother, James Ford of Louisville, KY; Sisters, Mrs. Eunice Goggins, Mrs. Elois Brown and Mrs. Audrey Cannon, All of Gadsden, AL.; She leaves host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and many dear friends.
