Jacob DeWayne Ayers

Memorial services for Jacob (Jake) D.Ayers, 28, of Gadsden will be held on Sunday, August 11,2019 at 3:00pm at The Tabernacle in Gadsden with Brother Tommy Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to service at the church.

Jake was a 2009 Gaston High School graduate. He was an all- around athlete and a class clown.Everyone knew Jake, for he never met a stranger. He had a loving and outgoing personality. He loved his children and family with all his heart.

He is preceded in death by his chosen father Steve Gilbert;His Maw-Maw, Lois Renee Freeman; grandad, James Ayers; great-grandparents Ross and Minnie Kilgore and Lester Ledbetter.

He is survived by his Mama , Jana; special friend/ step-father, Noel; his great-grandmother Barbra Ann Ledbetter; grand parents, Ricky and Lisa Ledbetter; Ann Ayers; special love of his life of 16 yrs Tekeitha and their two children Jayanna and Jacob; chosen brother, Dakota (Hannah)sisters, Alexsis, and Abby; uncles Josh and Bruce; aunts, Jani and Karla, and a host of cousins,special friends Ron Huff and Michael Radcliff.

Special speakers will be Coach Swayne Morris, Coach Mike Lamb, Coach Tony Nunn and Mrs.Myra Raegan.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Gaston High School Class of 2009.
