Ernest Calloway Jr. was born January 17, 1956 in Gadsden, Alabama where he was a lifelong resident. At an early age he professed his belief in Christ and his unwavering faith was reflected in every part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Calloway Sr., mother Eva Lou Underwood Calloway and sister Bernice Calloway.
He leaves to cherish his memory a son and two daughters; Ernest Calloway III, Brandy Calloway, and Leslie Calloway. Ten sisters, Barbara (Larry) Calloway-Campbell, Stamford, CT, Belinda Pearson, Cleasta (Lewis) Dupree and Brenda (Alvin) McNeal, Gadsden, Maggie (Jerry) Powers, Starkville, MS, Emma Sue Williams, Gadsden, Ernestine (Darryl) Carlisle, Atlanta, GA, LaChé (Jerry) Spraggins, Columbus, MS, and LaShanta Calloway, Gadsden; five brothers, Raymond Calloway, Columbus, MS, Levell (LouLou) Williams, Birmingham, AL, Carnell Williams, Gadsden, David (Mary) Calloway, Columbus, MS, and Alvin Calloway, Gadsden; and one granddaughter, Kaitlin Calloway. He also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
