Angels adorned in all finery descended from heaven and retrieved their beautiful sister, Deborah R. Keith, on April 9, 2021, at 8:30 PM in her home at 58 years old. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, James DeWayne Keith, grandmother, Irene Keith, and many cousins. Deborah was surrounded by the love of her son, Terrell, throughout her life, as she so enriched others as well. Deborah lived her life in an exemplary fashion, always showing love and kindness, never judging, or being demeaning.
Ms. Deborah R. Keith was born on November 4, 1962, to the parentage of Mary Joyce Keith and James Battle in Gadsden, Alabama.
She was educated in the Gadsden City school system and was a 1981 graduate of Emma Sansom High School and a graduate of New World College Hair/Cosmetology School. Deborah was united with the Shiloh Baptist Church, under the pastorage of Reverend J.E. Merriweather.

Keith (Gadsden); chosen sister/ cousin, Sylvia Keith Horton (Gadsden); chosen brothers/cousins, Mr. Timothy Keith (Gadsden) and Mr. Lacy (Della) Keith (Gadsden); two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Lisha Keith (Gadsden) and Renay Keith (Trussville, AL); two nephews, Mr. Jamichael Keith, and Mr. Jamarqhus Keith (Trussille, AL); two grand-nephews, Jamauri Smith (Huntsville, AL) and Jameir Serrano (Birmingham, AL); special cousins, Ms. Victoria Johnson (Pennsylvania), LaMonte Prater, Kevon Horton, Stephan (Arthurine) Burton, Morgan Burton, Willie Stephan Burton, and Laylonie Woodruff.
