Darlene Annette Young, was born April 10, 1966 the youngest child to the Otis " O.C." Young and Lille Belle Young. Darlene attended Gadsden High School graduating with class of 1984. She loved fixing people's hair and furthered her education by receiving a license in cosmetology and barbering in 1985. She later became a care-giver for over twenty years and cared for the disabled and elderly.
Darlene had a passionate love for her family and friends. and a giving heart. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness and engaged in a serious study of the Bible with the witnesses.
On September 23, 2015 she was united into holy matrimony to the love of her life Anthony Diamond. She loved and truly cared for him until her untimely demise.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jefferey Young and Johnny Clark; Her sisters, Donna Young ad Pam Turner; Sister-in-law, Teresia Young.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Anthony Diamond; five step-children; brothers, Larry Young, Reginald Young , Dwight Young and Kenneth (Shirley) Turner all of Gadsden, AL; nieces and nephews, Tangela(Fred)Williams, Keri(Koffi) Amoussou, Brittney Young all of Gadsden, AL., Dwight Young(FL) and Brittney Hart(TN); One grand-child;Twelve step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
