Bobby R. Lancaster

Mr. Bobby Ray Lancaster 80, of Gadsden, passed away on May 26, 2020 after an extended illness.  He was a life-long resident of Etowah county where he met the love of his life Linda. Together they raised three sons and a daughter.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Linda, son Greg Lancaster, parents Marvin and Bertha, and his two brothers Jack and Benny Lancaster.  He is survived by his sons Kevin (Deborah) and Marlon (Paula), his daughter Barbie (Jimmy), sister Joyce Shelly (Zack) and grandchildren: Kayla Houk, Victoria Hill, J.B. Fuller, Chase Fuller, and Dustin Lancaster.  Also, several nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed Alabama football, reading, and playing with his many cherished pets, especially his beloved dog Milo.  The family would like to thank everyone who said prayers and thought of Bobby during his illness.  A special thanks to Mr. Brandon Martin at Prestige Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory for their services. There will be no service at this time.  A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
