Beverlyn Jean Butler was born the third child to the late Mr. C.G. and Isolena Clayton on August 31, 1943, in Athens, Georgia. After becoming an adult, she moved to Gadsden, Alabama, where she spent the rest of her life.
Beverlyn touched many people and was loved by all. She will be missed by everyone.
She was affectionately referred to as “G-momma”, by her great grandkids and loved by them all. In her spare time, she loved to watch television and spend quality time with her family.
She is survived by her loving children, daughter, Deborah(Jerry)King; sons, Chris ( Neat) Johnson, Tommy Clayton, and Clarence Williams Jr.; sister, Linda Russell; grandchildren, Kambi Hardwick, Courtney Ridley, Norbert Gamble, B.J. Baker, Jerry(Ashley)King, Jr., and Robert Brown. She leaves fourteen great-grandchildren: one great-great-grandchild; and host of other relatives and many dear friends.
