Ashley M. Pearsall

Ashley Michelle Pearsall was born on September 1,1982, in Birmingham, Alabama to Lorenzo and Lisa Pearsall. She fell asleep in death on August 1, 2023, at Riverview Medical Center.

 She was a 2000 graduate of Gadsden High School. Ashley attended Gadsden State Community College where she found her love for the medical field. She was employed by Attalla Healthcare. 

Ashley had a tremendous passion for caring for people.  In her early teens, she loved to take care of others including caring for her great-grandmother.  She was so caring and compassionate and did anything she could to assist others, especially the elderly. Ashley also had a love for animals and being outdoors.  As a result, she obtained employment with the City of Gadsden Parks and Recreation working with the reptile exhibit one summer.  She loved going to the animal safari so she could pet and feed the animals.  Ashley also enjoyed going to the Georgia Aquarium with her beautiful daughters. She loved cooking with her Aunt Dot making crescent cookies.  

Ashley was preceded in death by her twin brother Bradley Michael Pearsall; great-grandmothers, Domie Johnson, and Maple Irby; grandmother, Ollie Thomas; and favorite aunt, Dorothy Looney (Aunt Dot).

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two daughters, Jordan Pearsall and Aaliyah Williams, both of Gadsden; parents Lorenzo and Lisa Pearsall, Gadsden, AL; brother, Sean (Sondra) Pearsall; Arizona; grandparents; Murdies Thomas, Gadsden, AL and Richard and Julia Pearsall, Cheraw, SC; aunts; Michelle ( Fred) Hollis, Akron,OH; Renea(LaRue) Watkins, Gadsden,AL ; Kim(Carlos) Simon, Birmingham, AL; Jennifer Thomas, Gadsden,Al ; Tiffany(Chauncey) Thornton, Montgomery,AL; Felicia(Michael) Bond, Durham, NC and Darlene Pearsall, Cheraw, SC.
